October is the perfect time to gather at Cope Environmental Center. The trails glow with fall color, and every program invites you to discover, learn, and explore in new ways. From family hikes to seasonal adventures, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Come share the crisp autumn air, connect with nature, and make lasting memories together.

Cope Highlight

Each fall, thousands of birds pass through Cope Environmental Center on their journey south. From tiny warblers to soaring hawks, our woods and wetlands provide a vital rest stop during migration. Keep your eyes and ears open on the trails this season, you never know what feathered travelers you might spot!

Trails are open daily from dawn to dusk. Maps are available at the Trailheads. The Living Building is open Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 9:00-3:00 and Tuesday & Thursday 10:30-7:00
