Join us on Tuesday, June 24 at 6:30 PM at the library as the Evening Book Club discusses Fingersmith by Sarah Waters, a dark and twisty Victorian-era novel filled with deceit, betrayal, and unexpected turns. The story follows Sue Trinder, an orphan raised in a den of thieves, who becomes involved in a con to defraud a wealthy heiress. But nothing is as it seems, and as the plot unravels, readers are pulled into a richly layered tale of love, secrets, and shifting loyalties. With vivid historical detail and masterful suspense, Fingersmith is sure to spark a lively discussion.
Join us on Wednesday, June 25 at 1:00 PM at the Senior Center at the Golay as the Senior Center Book Club discusses What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty. This thought-provoking and heartfelt novel follows Alice Love, who wakes up after a fall at the gym to discover she’s lost the last ten years of her memory. Suddenly, she’s 39, in the middle of a divorce, and has no recollection of the life she’s built—or how it all went wrong. As Alice tries to piece together her past, she must confront who she was, who she’s become, and what truly matters most.
Both book clubs welcome new members! Call 765-478-3335 or stop by the library to reserve your copy today.
