There’s still time to register for one of the most exciting events of the season—Cope Environmental Center’s 6th Annual Birdathon, happening May 2–18, 2025!
Whether you’re a seasoned birder, a backyard birdwatcher, or someone who just loves an outdoor challenge, Birdathon is for you. It’s fun, flexible, and supports an incredible cause—environmental education and conservation through CEC.
Think of it like a walkathon or readathon—but instead of counting steps or books, we count birds, bird photos, or birding locations. However you choose to participate, it’s a great reason to get outdoors and give back.
You won’t want to miss:
Bird Your Way: Count species, capture birds through your camera lens, or track how many birding spots you visit.
Compete solo or on a team: Join forces with friends, coworkers, or family—up to 6 per team!
Win prizes for most species spotted, most money raised, and more.
Make a real impact by gathering sponsors and supporting CEC’s mission.
Bird anytime, anywhere—from your backyard feeders to trails at Cope and beyond. This is your chance to explore nature during peak spring migration and contribute to a healthier planet.
