The library is here to help our community as residents recover from the recent flooding. Recognizing that many flood victims may need access to the Internet, public computers, email, and fax services, we are ready at the library to provide these essential resources. If you need help completing, sending, or submitting paperwork related to flood recovery, please stop by the library—we are here to help in any way we can.

The library will be hosting a Benefit Bluegrass Concert on Friday, September 25 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm, featuring Rachel Appleby, Clayton Appleby, Trevor Snavely, and John Appleby. Donations will go directly to the Wayne County Cares Fund to benefit flood survivors.
The Senior Center Book Club will meet Wednesday, September 23 at 1:00 pm at the Senior Center at the Golay to discuss The Lost Passenger by Frances Quinn. Set aboard a luxury ocean liner in the 1920s, this captivating historical novel follows a young woman whose carefully planned future is disrupted when she becomes involved in a mysterious disappearance. Filled with secrets, romance, and unexpected twists, The Lost Passenger offers an engaging story sure to inspire a lively book club discussion.
The Evening Book Club is meeting Tuesday, September 1 at 6:30 pm to discuss The Missing Half by Ashley Flowers. The next meeting is planned for October 6 at 6:30 pm. Please contact Karen at 765-478-3335 or stop by the library to reserve a copy of next month’s book.
Mother Goose on the Loose continues to be a popular program for little ones and their caregivers. Our leaders enjoy bringing stories, songs, rhymes, movement, and plenty of fun for everyone. Join us for a joyful morning of early learning and socialization on Wednesday mornings at 11:00 am!
Gaming Guild is working to find the best dates and times for the group this semester. Please call Karen at 765-478-3335 to be added to the contact list to play Dungeons & Dragons, Switch games, and other board games. Gaming Guild is geared toward ages 10-17.
The library will be closed Monday, September 7 for Labor Day.
