Returning this summer, The Great Outdoors Celebration: A Night in the Wild. Guests will step into a woodland speakeasy tucked into nature, where jazz drifts through the trees, secrets are whispered by lantern light, and a playful mystery unfolds over the course of the evening. You won’t want to miss this unforgettable night. More details to come!

Each spring, millions of birds pass overhead under the cover of darkness and right here at Cope, we’re tuning in. Explore last year’s April and May nocturnal migration checklists to discover which species traveled through our skies and listen to their nighttime flight calls. It’s a fascinating way to experience migration in a whole new light (or rather, darkness!).
Curious to learn more? Check out the Indiana Audubon Society’s Echoes of the Night Sky Project and start listening for yourself. Grab your headphones as that is the best way to hear them.
