Make July an Outdoor Adventure
|
This July, let nature be your playground at Cope Environmental Center! Families can enjoy hands-on programs, outdoor fun, and peaceful trail time-perfect for making memories under the summer sun. Slow down, explore, and reconnect with the world around you.

Tucked away on the south side of the property, Kite Pond is a hidden gem at Cope Environmental Center. As one of three ponds on-site, this quiet spot is teeming with natural activity. Look closely along the southeast edge and you might spot bluegill and bass nesting in the shallows. In early spring, the area bursts with life as skunk cabbage and marsh marigolds bloom. Whether you’re watching fish, spotting birds, or simply soaking in the peace and quiet, Kite Pond is the perfect place to pause and reconnect with nature.
