Dear WayneCounty.info,
Did you know that the North Star (aka. Polaris) is eight times the mass of the Sun and 2,000 times brighter? 🌟
Join us for Follow the North Star on Saturday, April 26th, from 2-3pm. This event is a special planetarium show at the Joseph Moore Museum, co-hosted with the Levi & Catharine Coffin State Historic Site.
🔭 Discover how freedom seekers navigated the night sky on their journey to freedom. Immerse yourself in the planetarium experience, then engage in astronomy-themed crafts and hands-on activities.
This event is recommended for school-aged kids and their caregivers, but all ages are welcome! Admission is free and open to the public. No registration required.
