After your adventure out on the property, you can warm up with a delicious, all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast featuring CEC’s very own maple syrup.

Cope Environmental Center is home to Indiana’s only Certified Living Building—a remarkable achievement that sets us apart as leaders in sustainability. This innovative space is designed to meet the most rigorous standards of the Living Building Challenge, blending cutting-edge green technology with respect for the natural environment.
Globally, there are only 34 Certified Living Buildings, making this one of the most unique destinations for eco-conscious visitors. From generating its own energy to harvesting rainwater, our Living Building is more than a structure—it’s a testament to what’s possible when innovation meets a commitment to a healthier planet.
