Invitation to Register
for the Get Active Outdoors Challenge
Cope Environmental Center (CEC) was founded in 1992 by avid nature lovers, Jim & Helen Cope and Francis Parks. They were very connected to the natural world and inspired many others to develop their own connections to nature. What better way to connect to nature than to put the screens down and get outside.
Challenge Details:
This challenge is set up for all levels of activity outside.

Register as a participant!

Set a goal! (Recommendation for adults 2 1/2 hours per week and children 3 1/2 hours pers week.)

Limit screen time & Get Outside!

Once you are registered, you will receive your own login to log your minutes outside, receive communications, and share your success and pictures!
Fundraising is Optional– If you would like to take this challenge to the next level, use your personal page to fundraise on behalf of Cope Environmental Center! This platform will allow others to make donations through your page! Share your personal page link with your friends and family. They will be able to see your progress and support you by making a one-time donation or pledge per minute! All money raised will go towards environmental education & maintaining the CEC trails and grounds.
Prize’s:
- Each week, the participants who logged outdoor minutes will be entered into a prize drawing.
- Prizes will also be awarded based on the most minutes spent outdoors each week & for the Top Adult and Youth Participants at the end of the challenge.
