The app, specific to the Sheriff’s Office, has been used to keep those in Wayne County aware of rapidly evolving situations, road closures ⚠️, and other happenings that are of interest or may affect their safety. We’ve been able to help other law enforcement agencies in quickly getting messages 🔔out to area residents. In addition to receiving alerts, users were able to check 🔎 current inmates, warrants, and location of sex offenders in their area, as well as other useful features. One of them being several citizens have used our “Submit a Tip” feature which has provided us helpful information with ongoing investigations, helping solve cases and leading to arrests. 🚔
