Search Warrant Served

Over the weekend, Wayne County Deputies and other emergency responders were dispatched to 950 South Salisbury Road, commonly known as the Salisbury Stables, for a reported drug overdose where CPR was being performed. Emergency responders were able to provide successful immediate medical assistance to the victim who was transported to Reid Health in stable condition. While at the scene, deputies observed evidence of drug use. With the help of our investigative unit, a search warrant was requested and later granted by the Wayne County Courts. During the search warrant, more than 60 grams of suspected fentanyl was located along with cocaine, pills, syringes, and drug paraphernalia.

Wayne County Deputies then placed the following under arrest:

Austin Mallory, age 25 of Lynn, Indiana for Visiting a Common Nuisance
Alicia McFarland, age 37 of Richmond, Indiana for Visiting a Common Nuisance
Laura Turner, age 60 of Richmond, Indiana for Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Narcotic.

This investigation is ongoing and may result in additional arrests or charges.
