Erratic Driving Leads to Arrest

Early this morning, Deputy Luke Sheridan along with Sergeant Tim Gard stopped a vehicle in the area of Williamsburg Pike and Enterprise Drive in Richmond after they observed the vehicle driving erratically. During the traffic stop, a Richmond Police K9 indicated on the presence of narcotics.

After a probable cause search, deputies located crack cocaine, multiple pills, and a smoking pipe. The driver, Laura Turner, age 60 of Richmond, was arrested for several narcotic related charges.

Arrests and criminal charges are mere accusations. Every person is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
