MRL’s Adult Program Pickup Kits provide a creative outlet to complete on your own time! 
Create your chic yarn hanging without the price! Choose one of the provided style ideas or come up with your own. This project is open-ended so get creative with it! 
 
Dream Crafters (For Teens)

To defeat boredom throughout the summer, join teen night filled with crafts, games, challenges, and more.

Our Furry Friends are great listeners. Curl up and read to trained therapy dogs.
Cupcake Club (For Kids)

Location: Youth Services
A book club for 1st-3rd graders. Read a book at home, then join us at the library for games and discussion. Books are available to pick up after the previous month’s meeting. 
 
1, 2, 3 Play With Me (For Preschoolers)
Wednesday, June 28, 10 – 11am
Location: Bard Room
Spend time playing with your little one and learn about local resources. Each session will close with a mini storytime.

Bring a friend and make colorful flowers using natural feathers. Great way to enjoy time together chatting and sorting through the bright, colorful feathers. This flower craft is a lovely piece of art to jazz up your summer days.
 
Let’s All Play Together (For Preschoolers)

Let’s come together each week to play games! We’ll spend 45 minutes jumping, hopping, skipping, throwing, and dancing while we play games such as Duck Duck Goose, musical chairs, and “The Floor is Lava.”

Enjoy a 2023 Indiana Early Literacy Firefly Award Nominee read-aloud. Receive a take-home activity related to the story. At the final program, you will vote for your favorite selection.

Are you looking for family fun throughout the summer?
Various programs are offered for all ages, from pre-schoolers to teens to adults. A sampling of the programs provided are crafting for teens, storytimes, art programs, live music, author visits, reading clubs, and ballroom dance lessons.
