Born in Richmond, Indiana (RHS class of 1970), Barbara Schwegman has made Bloomington, Indiana, her home for over 40 years. After graduating from DePauw University in 1974, Barb explored many jobs until she found her calling in teaching small children. Along with teaching, she developed a growing passion for creative writing and has produced a partial collection of her work. Presently, Barb continues to write and work part-time in a local bookstore.
In uncomplicated verse, the book “nightwalking” contains poems of memory, love, and loss to which all readers can relate. “nightwalking” is her first book of poetry, published in 2022.
