Amphibians in Indiana
Kristi Ridgeway from the DNR will have a presentation on amphibians at 2 pm on March 22nd. She will be discussing the various amphibian species found in Indiana, their habitats, and how to identify them. This promises to be a fascinating and informative talk, so be sure to attend!
The Cambridge City Public Library Gaming Guild will continue the campaign on March 6th and 20th at 3:30 pm. The Guild is open to 6th – 12th graders! We are currently playing Dungeons and Dragons, and we will explore other tabletop role playing games in the future.
March Book Clubs
The Evening Book Club and The Golay Center Book Club will be reading All The Little Hope by Leah Weiss. This novel follows the story of a young woman named Hope who is struggling to find her place in the world. Hope is a talented artist who has been living in her small town for her entire life. She has never been able to find her niche, but when she meets a group of women who are all struggling with the same thing, she finally feels like she belongs. This novel is a powerful story about friendship, love, and finding your way in the world.
The Senior Center Club meets Wednesday, March 22nd at 1 pm. The Evening Book Club meets Tuesday, March 28th at 6:30 pm. Call the library at 765-478-3335 to reserve your copy.
Mother Goose Story Time
Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m.
Mrs. Kim loves to share stories, songs, rhymes, music, movement, and fun with your child. All ages are welcome. No pre-registration is necessary.
PAWS for Reading
Wednesdays from 3:30 – 5:00. Call 765-478-3335 to reserve a spot for your child to practice reading to a dog. Children grow in their love for reading when sharing a book with a non-judgmental canine friend.
