Student Expo Panel/Discussion – April 28, 6:30-7:30pm
Connecting to the Richmond Community through Informal Education: Spotlight on Joseph Moore Museum’s Great Discoveries Students

How do museum collections and museum outreach impact the teaching and learning of the Earlham community? Students from the Great Discoveries in Natural History Collections class will share their path at Earlham using museums and museum collections. Students will present their experience on: experiential learning, paleontology research, community building, digitization of biodiversity collections, and more! Following short presentations, students will take questions as a panel.

Facilitator: Heather Lerner
Presenters: Abby Shuck, Cade Orchard, Cole Morse, Hannah Grushon, Jenn Baker, Kiyomi Johnson, Megan Steinhiser, Nathen Peck

There are two ways to join! To join and interact through a Zoom webinar with a chat interface, log into EC connect (Earlham’s platform for connecting students and alumni) or to ask us live questions on video, join via our Virtual Museum on Gathertown!

EC connect will connect you to all Earlham Day events. The Virtual Museum will allow you to engage directly with JMM students/faculty and does not require an account.
